Ian’s nursery was done in a literary theme.  The walls were painted a saffron yellow, with accent colors of navy, light blue, sage green, brown and gray.  We decided on an excerpt from classic French book Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince).  Loosely translated, it reads:

“Grown-ups never understand anything on their own, and it’s tiring for children to have to always explain things to them.”

In case you’re wondering, that is a boa constrictor that swallowed an elephant… not a hat.
