How it Works

  • Contact me with your artwork ideas.  Please be as specific as possible regarding:
    • Colors, themes and other design elements you would like included
    • Orientation preference: Your preference for portrait or landscape oriented paintings
    • Specific fonts you would like utilized
    • Size: Most paintings are done on 16 x 20″ canvas; other sizes also available
    • Finishing touches: Paintings can be framed, or hung as is.  If you like, a coordinating ribbon trim can be added for edging and hanging purposes.
    • If you have fabric swatches, paint chips or pictures of your nursery, please send those on!
  • Not sure exactly what you want?
    • While some clients are very specific about what they’d like their artwork to look like, I’ve also worked with a lot of parents who say “I’m not sure what I want, but will know what like when I see it.”  I am happy to design something from scratch based on your general preferences and guidelines.  Because my mockups are digitalized, we can quickly tweak your proofs as much as you need until you are happy with what your final product will look like.
  • I will work up a computerized proof and send it to you for approval.  This process usually takes just a few days.
  • I will provide you a quote detailing the final cost, as well as an estimate for shipping charges to your area.
  • Any design changes can easily be made at this time.  Once the design is approved, and the deposit has been received, I will begin work.
  • Please allow at least two weeks for completion of artwork.  Usually, however, artwork can be completed sooner than this.  If you have a specific date you need your paintings by, please let me know, and I will do my best to accommodate your timeframe.


  • Starting prices for custom artwork:
    • 8 x 10″ pieces start at $35.
    • 16 x 20″ pieces start at $75.
    • These are general prices for most artwork.  If you are requesting something more detailed or complicated, prices may be slightly higher.  Please contact me for a more detailed quote, or for estimates on paintings in other sizes.
  • If three or more pieces are ordered, a discount is available.
  • A non-refundable deposit of at least 50% is due before I begin any artwork.  The remaining balance, plus any shipping charges, are due upon completion of work.  Once final payment is received, your paintings will be shipped.
  • I accept PayPal payments only.
  • Sorry, because each piece is custom designed, there are no refunds.

Gift Certificates

  • Gift certificates can be made out for a specific dollar denomination, or can be purchased for a specific size painting(s).
  • To order a gift certificate, please contact me.
  • Gift certificates are good from one year from the date of purchase.


  • Shipping and handling charges are not included in the price or artwork, and are the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Local pickup in the Portland, Oregon area can also be arranged.
  • Shipping insurance up to the cost of the painting is also highly recommended.
